Specialization in Law

Criminal Law

The Criminal Law Department at Undip Faculty of Law focuses on strengthening students' competencies in public law, particularly in relation to criminal acts, criminal liability, and the penal system within the framework of national law. Through the core curriculum, students are equipped with a strong foundation through courses in Principles of Criminal Law, Criminal Law, Criminology, and Special Criminal Law, enabling them to comprehensively understand the concepts, principles, and dynamics of criminal law enforcement.

Civil Law

The Civil Law Department at Undip Faculty of Law oversees various concentrations that focus on strengthening students' competencies in the field of private law. Through the core curriculum, students are equipped with a foundation in Civil Law, Contract Law, Security Law, and Western Civil Law of Succession, which form the basis for understanding legal relationships between legal subjects, civil rights and obligations, and the protection of individual interests in society. The Civil Law Department also offers concentration-based specializations, including Western Civil Law, Business Law, Agrarian Law, Customary Law, and Islamic Law, with relevant required and elective courses.

State Administrative Law

The State Administration Law Department at FH Undip focuses on strengthening students' competence in understanding government authority, public administration governance, and the legal relationship between the state and citizens in the provision of public services. Through the core curriculum, students are equipped with a strong foundation through courses in State Administrative Law, Labor Law, Tax Law, and Public Service Law, enabling them to understand the principles of good governance, administrative law instruments, and control mechanisms over government actions. At the advanced level, the State Administrative Law Department offers compulsory courses such as Selected Topics in State Administrative Law, State Financial Law, Migrant Worker Law, and Labor, Taxation, and Licensing Laboratory, which strengthen students' analytical abilities and practical skills.

Constitutional Law

The Constitutional Law Department at Undip Faculty of Law focuses on strengthening students' competence in understanding the basics of state administration, constitutional systems, and the dynamics of state power within a legal framework. Through the core curriculum, students are equipped with a strong foundation through courses in State Science, Constitutional Law, Legal Design, Regional and Village Autonomy Law, and Constitutional Law and Constitutional Court, enabling students to understand the institutional structure of the state, the principles of constitutionalism, and the mechanisms for testing and enforcing the constitution. At the advanced level, the Constitutional Law Department offers compulsory courses such as Selected Topics in Constitutional Law, Comparative Constitutional Law, and Legal Design Laboratory, which strengthen students' analytical abilities and regulatory design skills.

Procedural Law

The Procedural Law Department at FH Undip focuses on strengthening students' competence in understanding formal law, namely the rules and mechanisms for resolving cases and the process of law enforcement in judicial institutions. Through the core curriculum, students are equipped with important foundations through courses in Civil Procedure Law, Criminal Procedure Law, and Administrative Law, as well as further reinforcement through Civil Case Legal Remedies and Administrative Case Legal Remedies, so that students understand the procedural flow from the examination stage to legal remedies.

Fundamentals of Legal Science and Law and Society

The Fundamentals of Legal Science & Law and Society Department at Undip Faculty of Law focuses on establishing the foundations of legal thinking, including conceptual, historical, and philosophical understanding, as well as the relationship between law and social reality. Through the core curriculum, students are strengthened with courses that build the foundations of reasoning and academic character, such as Introduction to Legal Science, Introduction to Indonesian Law, and strengthening social perspectives through Law and Society. The Law and Society concentration emphasizes the analysis of the relationship between law and policy and social change through courses such as Law and Public Policy, Law and Social Change, Law and Gender, and Law, Morality, and Religion, which are expanded with options such as Law and Poverty, Introduction to Progressive Law, and Law and Digitalization.

International Law

The International Law Department at Undip Faculty of Law focuses on strengthening students' competence in understanding the laws governing relations between countries, international organizations, and various emerging global issues. Through the core curriculum, students are equipped with a strong foundation through courses in International Law, International Maritime Law, and International Treaty Law, enabling them to understand the principles, sources of law, and practices of international relations in a legal context.
