A total of 50 students and 7 assistants from Al Azhar 1 Islamic High School South Jakarta visited the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University. The visit which took place on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 14.00 in the Fiat Justisia Room of the Samiadji Soerjotjaroko Building, S.H. aims to strengthen friendship, as well as provide a closer description of the study program and academic life at the Faculty of Law, one of the leading universities in Indonesia.
Upon arrival at the Undip Faculty of Law, the group was warmly welcomed by Andhi Susetyo, S.T., M.Pi., Supervisor of Resources at Undip Faculty of Law. In his remarks, Andhi expressed his appreciation for the visit of Al Azhar 1 South Jakarta students and hoped that this visit could provide benefits for students in determining their next steps. “Welcome to School of Winner, School of Winners,” greeted Andhi. “This period is a period of self-establishment. Please process because every process must have learning,” he added.
In line with Andhi, Drs. Mustofa Abbas, M.Pd., a teacher representative from Al Azhar 1 Islamic High School, South Jakarta, also expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from Undip Faculty of Law. “The main purpose of our visit is to strengthen friendship, conduct comparative studies, and provide students with a clearer picture of the excellent programs at the Faculty of Law Undip,” said Mustofa.
The event continued with the exchange of plaques and a group photo session. Furthermore, Hendra Gunawan, S.T., Supervisor of Academic and Student Affairs, gave a presentation on “Overview of the Introduction to the Academic System of Faculty of Law Undip”. This presentation was greeted enthusiastically by the students who were seen actively asking questions. This visit is expected to inspire students of Islamic High School Al Azhar 1 South Jakarta to continue their studies to a higher level, especially in the field of law.
