On February 19, 2024, the Faculty of Law at Diponegoro University (FH Undip) welcomed a special guest from afar, Senior High School (SMA) Negeri 1 Cisaat Sukabumi. A total of 290 students and 21 accompanying teachers filled out FH Undip during the visit to provide a direct experience of the academic environment in higher education.
The visit, warmly welcomed by the Administrative Manager of FH Undip, Mr. Darwanto, SH, became valuable for both parties. “We are delighted to welcome the arrival of SMA N 1 Cisaat Sukabumi at FH Undip. Hopefully, this visit will inspire and motivate students to pursue their academic aspirations,” said Mr. Darwanto.
The Vice Principal of SMA N 1 Cisaat Sukabumi Ai Jamilah, SPd, MPd, also expressed his hopes in his speech. “We hope this visit can provide our students a clearer picture of life in higher education. Hopefully, they will be more motivated to study and strive for success, especially in their efforts to enroll in state universities (PTNs),” he stated.
As a token of appreciation for the warm reception and valuable experience, SMAN 1 Cisaat Sukabumi presented a plaque to FH Undip. Meanwhile, FH Undip also reciprocated by giving a similar award to SMA N 1 Cisaat Sukabumi as a symbol of friendship between educational institutions.
The event was not only held as a formal ceremony but also involved direct interaction between students and academic staff of FH Undip. The Academic and Student Affairs Supervisor, Hendra Gunawan, ST, introduced the educational system of FH Undip and enthusiastically answered various questions from the students.
The students were very enthusiastic in asking questions and absorbing the information provided. This visit enhanced their understanding of the academic world and opened doors to new possibilities in the future.
It is hoped that this visit will be the first step in building closer cooperation between FH Undip and SMA N 1 Cisaat Sukabumi and inspire the younger generation to continue striving for and achieving their dreams.
