Sewon 1 Public High School Visits Undip Law Faculty in the “Study Campus” Activity.

On Friday, January 26, 2024, the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University (Undip) received a special visit from class XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Sewon, Bantul Regency, in the context of the “Study Campus” activity. This event was held in Room H 304, at  Prof. Dr. Satjipto Rahardjo Building, where the Administrative Manager of FH Undip, Darwanto, SH, welcomed the students. Darwanto, SH, in his speech, warmly welcomed the students’ arrival and provided an overview of the Faculty of Law Undip. “We are delighted to welcome SMA Negeri 1 Sewon students to this Study Campus activity. We hope that this visit will provide new insights and inspiration for students in pursuing their academic dreams,” he said. The speech was then continued by the Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Sewon, who explained that Study Campus activities were their school’s annual agenda. “We chose Undip as the destination for this visit because it is not too far from Yogyakarta, making it easier for students to access,” he explained.

After remarks from the school principal, the event continued with a presentation of material from the Undip Law Faculty regarding various aspects of education and careers in the legal field. This Study Campus activity provides an opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding of the academic world and the legal profession and broaden their horizons outside the school environment. Hopefully, this visit can significantly benefit SMA Negeri 1 Sewon class XII students in determining the next steps in their education and careers.
